Easy Camping Recipes for Breakfast
Individual packets of instant oatmeal
(If you have a cooler, butter or milk makes the oatmeal much creamier)
Heat the water in a pot or pan and add the oatmeal. Stir until the oatmeal is the desired texture.
Milk or water
salt and pepper
Crack eggs into a pot or pan. Add about a tablespoon of milk or water for every egg used. Add salt and pepper to taste. Scramble and cook until the desired consistency is reached.
Biscuits on a stick
Roll biscuits out flat with your hands and wrap around a stick. Hold over the campfire until done. If you have butter, put it in the whole left by the stick.
Easy Camping Recipes for Lunch and Dinner
Easy Beef Stew
1-2 pounds stew meat
1 bag of frozen stew vegetables
1 pouch of McCormick stew seasoning
1/2 stick of butter
meat marinade of choice
heavy duty foil
Marinate meat in an airtight container. Cut foil in large piece to make pouch. Put frozen veggies, meat and some marinade on foil. Sprinkle season package on mixture and add the butter on top. Fold foil into pouch and put it on top of fire or grill for about 60-90 minutes.

potatoes, finely chopped
carrots, finely chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
On a large piece of foil put a shaped ground beef patty. Make a well, or bowl shape, in the middle. Spoon 1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce into the well. Add in vegetables, salt and pepper. Wrap up and cook until the vegetables are desired tenderness.
Grilled Peanut Butter Sandwiches
Spread peanut butter on one piece of bread and put another slice on top to make a sandwich. Butter the outsides and cook on skillet till golden brown. Flip and do same to other side.
1 loaf of bread
1 jar of pizza sauce
1 package of pizza blend cheese
Heat a skillet over the fire. Spread butter on 2 slices of bread. Spoon pizza sauce on unbuttered sides, sprinkle with the cheese and put the bread together. Place in skillet and brown both sides.
Easy Camping Recipes for Dessert
Applesauce Gingerbread Cake
1 14 oz. can of applesauce
1 package of gingerbread cake mix
Pour applesauce in bottom of a cast iron skillet. Pour dry cake mix over applesauce. Cover and cook until moisture from applesauce has steamed the cake. Let cool but serve while still warm.
Cut each biscuits into three pieces and roll the pieces into balls. Stick the balls onto a skewer and brown them over hot coals until they are thoroughly done. (about seven minutes). Roll the balls in butter and then a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
