FALL

Upon smooth wood
damp fragrance
of the Fall
disrobes Summer.
All flora’s treasures
burnished bronze.
Gentle breezes
turned to churn.
The scene unfolds
now rearranged.
The scent of Fall
bestirs the onset
of yesterday.
The shifting of
the seasons
take me back
with loving visions
of Summer days.
Immortal charm
as light grown dim
Fall is nigh
hipped with generosity
