Smokers Can Enjoy Smokeless Cigarettes in Smoke Free Zones

We all know the dangers of smoking. Second hand smoke can be worse than first hand smoke because the non-smoker isn’t using a filter to block the harmful chemicals they inhale. So, can both smokers and non-smokers compromise so that both can enjoy a breath of fresh air? Now there is a way.

According to Crown 7, one maker of smokeless cigarettes, smokers are able to get the nicotine and pleasures of smoking, without exhaling the smoke. This is the same concept used in the prescribed smoking cessation drug Nicorette. Smokeless cigarettes are available in fancy units that look just like cigarettes. They come with refillable cartridges. Each cartridge is equivalent of two packs of cigarettes and run about 10 dollars each.

In a high-tech age, almost everything has gone electronic. Now, cigarettes have their turn. An electronic version of smokeless cigarettes is available from Smart Fixx. This smokeless cigarette uses a micro-electronic circuit, an atomizing chamber, and an indicator light.

Various versions of smokeless cigarettes are making way to the market as smoking bans dominate most public places in America. Now, smokers have an alternative. A smoker can inhale nicotine with a fancy apparatus, and exhale only the vapors. There are no restrictions to use smokeless cigarettes in a non-smoking environment.

Here are some of the advantages and disadvantages of smokeless cigarettes.

Pros

1. Fresh air for both smokers and non-smokers.
2. No more red eyes from smoke
3. The vapors exhaled are safe
4. Smokers get the nicotine and pleasure
5. In some areas, it is cheaper than cigarettes
6. It is cleaner because there are no ashes and no odors
7. No more nicotine fingers (those yellow stains)
8. Allowed in non-smoking environments
9. Smell better, feel better, and look better
10. Eliminate the dangerous chemical substances that cause cancer

Cons

1. Nicotine addiction will not subside
2. Although 98% safer, it is still not 100% safe
3. It is not widely available

As you can see, there are more advantages for both smothers and non-smokers to use smokeless cigarettes. However, the tobacco movement wants to eliminate any substitute for using tobacco.

The CDC and the Surgeon General insist that smokeless tobacco is not safe. However, oral pathologist Brad Rodu from University of Alabama at Birmingham insists otherwise. He believes that the tobacco movement does not want the public to know about the safer method of smoking.

Nicorette, available by prescription only, believes in the safer method of smoking. This system offers a mock cigarette filled with a nicotine cartridge that plans out a reduction of cartridges used over time. A smoker will eventually be discouraged to use a real cigarette over time after feeling better, looking better, and smelling fresher. A smoker could repel smoke using this method.

Maybe the smokeless cigarette will also help smokers quit. It may not take a Virginia Slim cigarette to show us that we have come a long way…it just may take us an electronic device.
