The Graveyard- an Abode for Absolute Slumber

It makes me crave,
To visit the grave
The vicarious pleasure of death,
Always takes away my breath.

This is not cynicism,
Never consider this as pessimism
I visualize a ray of optimism,
For in death, there is truism.

When I stand in my courtyard
I’m reminded by the graveyard
There is some initial sense of fear
How to make my thoughts clear ?

Finally, I made it to the graveyard
Where, silence was my only guard
Even when life abides to cease
Its a haven, for souls to rest in peace.
