Cucumber and Feta Salad Recipe

If it is a vegetable salad without any traces of cucumber it would be just like jewelry with no beads or stones.  It won’t perhaps be wrong to say that a cucumber is a complete salad all by itself even when there are no other associating ingredients. However, if there is something like Feta or Feta cheese added to cucumber that will make an awesome Cucumber and Feta Salad. This salad can prove to be a nice healthy meal if there is no time to prepare a full-fledged one. It can be easily prepared at home in no time at all and is enough to serve a small family. While making Cucumber and Feta salad just make sure you have all the ingredients ready on the kitchen slab. Once you have them all, just follow the below given directions.

Serving Size: 4 to 5
Utensils Required: Salad bowl, knife, spoon and fork


– Medium-sized cucumbers (2 only)
– Salt (½ teaspoon)
– Chopped green onions (¼ cup)
– Crumbled feta cheese (1 cup or 4 ounces)
– Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
– Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
– Roughly grounded pepper (1/8  to 1/4 teaspoon)

    With the help of a knife, cut the two cucumbers lengthwise into half. This means that you slide the knife straight down from one end of the cucumber to the other.

    Using the knife or spoon, remove seeds from all the four pieces of cucumbers and make sure you discard them.

    Again with the help of the knife, start cutting the cucumbers into ½ inch cubes and place them inside the salad bowl.

    Sprinkle salt on the cut pieces of cucumber and add some chopped green onions. Using a spoon and fork, mix the cucumbers and so the taste of salt is properly mixed in all of the salad.

    Finally add crumbled feta cheese to the mixture along with lemon juice, olive oil and pepper. Mix gently with a spoon and fork for some time and the salad is ready.
