Difference between Google Nexus 4 and Apple Iphone 5

Powered by Google, Android is certainly the biggest competitor of Apple. While many major manufactures are using Android as operating system, Google continued to extend its arms in the mobile world, as the company launched Nexus 4.

Google Nexus 4 hit the market only a few weeks after iPhone 5 – one of Apple’s most advanced devices. The Google device, although failed to make as bigger a audience as iPhone, it did give a hard time to the Apple phone.

There is a series of differences between these two smartphones. Not only the manufacturers are different, but they are also using entirely different operating systems. Their designs also don’t have anything in common.

Google Nexus 4’s dimensions are totally different from iPhone 5. Its 4.7-inch screen is way bigger than iPhone 5, which has a 4.0-inch display. The Apple device is only 112 gram in weight, nearly 27 grams lighter than Google Nexus 4.

As far as the hardware is concerned, the Google device seems to have a little edge. It has Quad core, 1500 MHz, Krait processor and 2048 MB RAM. On the other hand, iPhone 5 has Dual-core 1.2 GHz processor coupled with 1 GB RAM.

Google Nexus 4’s built-in storage is 8 GB and can be expanded. On the other hand, iPhone 5’s memory cannot be increased, as it comes in different models, such as 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB.
