Take the tape measure and note the thickness of the handrail and its bracket. Then, subtract the measurements from 33 inches which is the middle measurement for the national code.
Put each stud on the wall with the help of the stud finder and make a mark at the right height which you got in the step one.
Now, you have to lay the mounting bracket on the centre of the stud. Make sure that the bottom side of the bracket is on the mark. Then, mark the escalating holes in the wall.
Take the drill machine and make a pilot hole with the help of a drill bit which measures ½ diameter of the screws which you applied with the escalating bracket.
After that, you have to put the mounting brackets on the wall and join them well with screws by using the screwdriver.
Then, you have to measure the length of the gap where you want to install the handrail with the help of your tape. Take the mitre saw and cut the handrail after transferring the measurement.
Just place the handrail on the mounting brackets. Now, use supplied screws and fasteners to join it to the bracket.
