Prepare the fresh pineapple
First of all you need to prepare the fresh pineapple for grilling. You need to chop off the top and then peel it.
Then cut them into four pieces before slicing them. Remember your pineapple slice should be around one inch thick.
Add honey, butter and lemon juice
Take a bowl and add honey, melted butter and lemon juice. Then mix it. You can do this with a spoon.
Note that you can use lime juice instead of lemon juice.
Apply the marinate mixture
Then take the pineapple slices and apply the marinate mixture. You can put the marinate mixture with a glazing brush on both sides of the pineapple slices.
You can also apply marinate mixture on the pineapple slices by putting them into the refrigerator in a large freezer bag. Leave the bag in the refrigerator for almost half an hour. You can also leave the bag for the whole night to further liven up your flavour.
Grill the pineapple slices
Grill the marinated pineapple slices until grill marks appear i.e. for almost three to four minutes.
Remove from grill
Next you need to carefully remove the pineapple slices from the grill. You can use a spatula to remove from the grill.
Glaze and Serve
After removing from the grill, place the pineapple slices into the serving plate.
You can add any remaining marinate or glaze to the pineapple slices to further improve the taste.
