Steps to Make Chicken Salad

Salads are a part of appetizers which is why it comes among the lightest and fresh food. Usually in salads you have the freedom of using vegetables of your choice but a little variation in the recipe can create entirely a new dish.

Chicken salad is among the most favorite and common recipe which is admired by most of the people, but you can also replace chicken with bacon meat or fish. You can also add in more vegetables depending upon your choice. The ratio of ingredients mentioned below can be increased according to the requirement.

Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
Ground black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
Chopped, cooked chicken meat: 2 cups
Blanched slivered almonds: 1/2 cup
Celery, chopped: 1 stalk

    Take a small pan and toast almonds in it. When you will sense the aroma of the almonds remove them from the stove immediately.

    Take a deep bowl and one by one add mayonnaise, lemon juice and in the end pepper. Mix the ingredients well so that a paste will form.

    In the same bowl add chicken, celery and then almond.  Toss them in the paste and make sure that the ingredients are properly mixed.

    Take a lovely glass material serving dish and take out the prepared salad in the serving dish and serve it with salad leaves and beautiful vegetable decorations.
