How to Make a French Martini

A French Martini is one of those drinks which not only look appealing, but also taste amazing. You will be surprised to know that it can be made quite easily, since it includes only three ingredients, elegantly subtle vodka with raspberry and pineapple flavours – resulting in a pink fruity drink. French Martini is served in restaurants and bars in various regions of the world but it can be easily made at home as well. You can serve this drink to your guests or have it yourself after a tiring day at work.

Utensils: Martini glass, martini shaker with lid and strainer

Soda water: as per requirement
Ice: as per requirement
Vodka: 1 ½ oz.
Pineapple juice: 1 ½ oz.
Lemon twist: as per requirement
Raspberry liqueur: 1 ½ oz.

    Chill the martini glass

    In order to enjoy the French Martini, it is important that the martini glass is properly chilled. You can place the glass in the refrigerator a few minutes before you start preparing the drink.

    Put the ingredients in the martini shaker

    The next step is to put a cup of ice, 1 ½ oz. of vodka, 1 ½ oz. of pineapple juice and ½ oz. of raspberry liqueur in the martini shaker. You can now put the lid over the martini shaker and tightly seal it before you shake the mixture for about 15 to 20 seconds, or until the tin begins to get icy.

    Strain in the drink

    Take out the martini glass from the refrigerator and strain the drink into it from the shaker.

    Garnish before you serve

    It is recommended that you garnish the drink with lemon twist before serving it. For the best taste, have the drink while it is fresh and cold.
