How to Make a Yogurt Protein Shake

While many artificially manufactured protein drinks are available in the markets, most of them are not safe and can have adverse effects in the long run. Instead, you can buy some fresh fruits, yogurt, milk and juice to make your own protein shake, rich in calcium, potassium and vitamin C. All you need is five minutes of your time, perhaps during breakfast, and you can have a fulfilling protein shake.

Utensils: Glass, blender, spoons, straws, cutting knife

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup yogurt
– 1/2 cup milk
– ¼ cup orange juice
– Strawberries
– Ice
– Sugar (optional)
– 1 Banana

    Once you have all the required utensils and ingredients on your kitchen table it is time for you to cut the banana into two pieces, and put them in the blender.

    Now pour the juice and milk in the blender as well.

    Add sugar according to your taste.

    Now you can add some strawberries in the blender after washing them thoroughly.

    Turn on the blender and blend for 30 seconds. Stop, open the lid, and look for any solid pieces of banana and strawberries. Since strawberries are difficult to mash, you might have to blend again for a while so that there aren’t any fruit chunks in your shake.

    You can now add some ice cubes and blend again.

    Now the final part requires you to include the yogurt. After pouring it in, you need to stir. This will make your drink thick. If it is too thick for your taste you can always add more milk or juice and blend a little more.
