For the frosting -
White chocolate - 4 oz/115 g broken into pieces
Butter - 2 oz/ 55 g, softened
Milk - 3 tbsp
Confectioners sugar - 1¾ cups
First of all, you need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Take a baking pan and grease using butter, and line its bottom, if you feel it necessary.
Take a large bowl and mix together flour, baking powder, and cocoa.
Add in butter, superfine sugar, eggs, and coffee in the mixture and beat it well, until you find it turning smooth.
Pour the mixture in the pan and smoothen out the surface.
Place the pan into the oven and bake it for around 40 minutes.
Take the pan out when the batter starts rising from the top. Allow it to cool for around 10 minutes.
If you had lined up the pan in the initial stage, then you should remove the lining and then allow it to cool.
In order to make the frosting, you have to mix together chocolate, butter, and milk in a large bowl and place it over simmering water.
Wait for the chocolate to melt, before removing it from simmering water.
Add in confectioners’ sugar and beat well until smooth.
Spread the frosting over brownies and sprinkle extra cocoa over the top.
The yummy and scrummy brownies are now ready to be served.
