Pure almond extract or Grand Marnier – 1.5 tablespoons
Sweetened condensed milk – 1.25 cups
Flaked coconut – 1 pound
Egg whites – 2
Salt – 1 pinch
At first, you need to preheat the oven to 350 degree F and use a parchment paper to line the cookie sheet.
Then mix up almond extract, sweetened condensed milk and flaked coconut.
Make sure that you keep the flaked coconut as much fluffy as possible and make the mixture.
Next thing you need to do is shake or stir the white eggs and salt until it becomes a mixture.
Then fold up egg whites into the coconut mixture.
Now take a spoon for scooping macaroon batter and put in into balls which are sized of a small table tennis ball.
Make sure you place them at least 1 inch away from each other when placing on the parchment cookie sheet.
Use the cold water to wash your fingers if they get sticky when you slide the batter off spoon.
But try not to squeeze of hold the batter.
Now take almost 20 minutes to bake the macaroon cookies until they get golden brownish colour.
Do not remove them immediately.
Take a little time but not too much otherwise they will glue to the parchment and will become difficult to remove.
Take a few hours before eating these macaroon cookies for getting better taste.
