Wash the fresh mint leaves properly and place them in a Mint Julep cup, cocktail glass, highball glass or similar vessel. Add in 2 tablespoon sugar.
Now, muddle the fresh mint leaves and sugar for one or two minutes until sugar dissolves thoroughly and both of the ingredients come together in a lovely, fragrant mash.
Pour 2 to 3 oz bourbon into the glass and fill it with crushed ice. Stir the mixture until all the ingredients mix well and an icy frost forms on the outside of your glass.
