Ingredients

– 8 ounces dried figs
– 8 ounces dried apricots

– 1/2 cup dried cranberries

– 1/2 cup golden raisins
– 1/4 cup pine nuts
– 1 tablespoon honey

    Pour the figs, cranberries, prunes, apricots, raisins and golden raisins into a bowl. Pour in a little water - just enough amount that soaks up the ingredients. Cover the bowl and let it soak overnight, at least for a time period of 8 hours.

    Pour the fruit along with the soaked water you prepared earlier into a pot. Stir in the pine nuts and honey. Wait till a simmer or bubble comes out. Cook for 30 minutes while stirring occasionally till the fruit gets tender but doesn’t loose its shape.
