Prepare the ginger-honey dressing:
Take a medium non-sticking frying pan and wash it properly. Now, add in the paprika, cayenne, honey, peeled and grated fresh ginger, and rice vinegar. Pour in one cup of cold water and place the frying pan on the stove over medium heat. Stir the ingredients time to time and bring them to boil. Reduce heat once it starts boiling and then simmer it for approximately 5 minutes. Remove the pan from heat and stir in lemon or lime juice. The dressing is ready, set it aside for now.
Note: In order to add in right quantity of the ingredients, make sure to follow the proportions mentioned above.
Make the salad:
Grab a large shallow serving bowl and add in peeled strips of one ripe mango. Top the mango strips with plum slices, shredded red cabbage, watercress leaves, cucumber slices, seeded and julienned red bell pepper, diagonally sliced green onions, minced fresh mint, and the crushed fresh cilantro. Take a large spoon or fork and gently toss together all the ingredients until evenly mixed. Now set the bowl aside.
Note: Again, follow the above mentioned ratio of the ingredients of salad.
Prepare the steak:
Take a large non-sticking skillet or wok and pour 1 ½ tablespoons of oil into it. Place it on your stove over medium heat until warm. Meanwhile, pick a medium mixing bowl and place 14 ounces lean sirloin steaks in it, properly trimmed and cut into thin strips. Add in 3 of garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 2 teaspoons of soy sauce. Toss them well with a fork or spoon. Once the oil in the pan is warm, add in the coated lean sirloin steaks. Fry the steaks for 3 to 5 minutes until evenly browned and cooked well, stirring occasionally. Remove the skillet or wok from heat and set aside for a few minutes until cool enough to handle.
Once you prepare the salad, steaks, and dressing, you have to mix them with care. Set the large shallow serving bowl of salad right in front of you and spoon the stir-fried beef over the top. Now, smoothly drizzle the ginger-honey dressing over and toss very lightly. Sprinkle your salad with 2 tablespoons of the roasted and coarsely chopped unsalted peanuts.
Your Stir Fried Beef Salad with Mango is all set, which is gorgeous and healthy too. Serve it warm. Do not forget to place four medium serving plates and forks along the bowl of the salad so that your family members or friends can take it according to their own desire.
