Utensils Needed: oven, electric mixer, mixing bowls, baking tray, baking sheet, gloves, and wire rack
- ½ cups Butter
- ½ cups Peanut Butter
- ½ cups Sugar
- ½ cups Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1¼ cup Sifted Flour
- ¾ teaspoons Baking Soda
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Peanuts - finely crushed
- ¾ cups Candy Corn Candies
Heat your oven to about 325 degree Fahrenheit.
Take the bowl of your electric mixer and place butter in it.
Top the butter with peanut butter and both sugars.
Seal the electric mixer and turn it on at medium speed.
Continue mixing until all ingredients incorporate will and form a light fluffy mixture.
Unseal the electric mixer and add the egg and vanilla into the butter-sugar mixture.
Seal the electric mixer again and mix-up the ingredients until completely incorporate.
Turn off the electric mixer for some time until you make the flour mixture.
Take a bowl and mix together the baking soda, salt and flour in it.
Pour the flour-mixture into the butter mixture in the electric mixer.
Mix up both of the ingredients completely and pour into a large mixing bowl.
Add in the finely crushed peanuts and stir for few seconds to mix them in then mixture.
Set the butter-flour mixture aside for few minutes until marinate will and thick.
Now, make 1-inch balls of the butter-flour dough and place them in an order, keeping some distance in between.
Gently insert two to three candy corns into the centers of the dough balls.
Note: Insert the candy corns properly so that the dough completely covers them from all sides.
Line the baking tray with a large baking sheet and arrange the dough balls in it.
Now, place your index finger’s tip on the dough balls and slightly flatten them.
Place the baking tray in the pre-heat oven and bake them for 13 to 15 minutes or until finally brown in color.
Turn off the oven, wear gloves and remove the baking tray form oven. Leave the Halloween candy cookies for some time to lightly warm at room temperature.
