Holland Park tube station is sited on the Central Line of the London Underground system that lies between Notting Hill Gate and Sheperd’s Bush stations. This station became operational on July 30, 1900. Initially it was planned that commercial shops would be constructed on Holland Park tube station’s top floor, but that hasn’t happened yet. The last restoration work on this station’s building took place back in 1990’s, since then this structure is standing as it is. The facilities on Holland Park tube station are limited and include only lifts, ticket halls and gates. For entrance commuters have two options, one from the Holland Park Avenue and second from Lansdown Road. Holland Park Avenue entrance is also the exit way from the Holland Park tube station because Lansdown Road side is dedicated for emergency exits only.
