First of all, prepare scrapple for the baking process and you will start by removing extra fats from ready-made sausage. The best way to do that is to put the sausage in a colander and set aside to drain properly. Meanwhile, you should make other ingredients for baking scrapple.
Take a saucepan and pour 2 ¾ cups of water in it. Put the saucepan on a stove and boil the water.
Next thing you will do is to make a smooth mixture of cornmeal, salt, pepper sugar and milk. Put all these ingredients in a bowl and whisk them properly. Keep beating until you find the batter turning smooth. After that, add that batter into the boiling water and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
In the last step of preparation process, you will pour the batter into the bread loaf pan and add sausage into it. Set the mixture aside to cool down.
Now, when you have prepared all the ingredients, turn on the oven and set it at 375 F. Place a cookie sheet and use non-stick spray to keep it moist.
Cut the scrapple into slices; place it in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. When it changes colour, take out of the oven and serve smoking hot.
