All sorts of cheesecakes are yummy. It is really hard to find one that is not. But it being guilt free is close to impossible because it is hard to stop once you really get started. Cheesecakes are loved by people all around the world and come in so many types that it is really hard to take them all into consideration, but the most well-known has to be the simple, New York cheesecake.
Heavy cream: 2 tbsp
Egg yolk: 1
Flour: 1 tbsp
Sugar: ¾ cups
Vanilla extract: 1tsp
Finely grated orange and lemon peel zest: 1 tsp
Cream cheese: 1 ¼ lbs
Melted butter: ½ cups
Cinnamon: ½ tsp
Graham cracker crumbs: 1 ¾ cups
The first step of making yummy guilt free cheesecake is kicking it off by mixing the crackers, cinnamon and butter together in one of the mixing bowls.
Next, lay a circle of parchment paper in a 9 to 10 inch springform pan at the bottom along with the sides as well to avoid having anything stick to the sides and beneath the pan.
Put in the crust mix now by patting it down with the bottom part of any glass for a bumpy finish.
It is important that you preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit in order to have the cheesecake go in when the oven is hot and ready to go, cooking the ingredients almost immediately without there being any spots left.
In another mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, zest and vanilla by hand or through an electric mixture. The point here is to get the mixture to smoothen out entirely without any solid material left.
Add the sugar, and flour while you continue to beat, followed by the eggs, yolk and cream. Remember to continue mixing.
After the mixture is ready, pour in the filling over the crust in your pan and bake for at least one hour.
When done, place the cheesecake into the fridge, because cheesecake is best served cool!
