If you receive a letter from your boss with the good news that the leave you requested has been approved, it is your duty to send a thank you letter in return, in order to show your sincere gratitude. A leave acceptance letter should not be too long – since you have already applied for a leave, which in turn has been approved, there is no need to repeat any information regarding why you want the leave, etc. Simply thank your employer, and make sure you mention the date on which you plan to rejoin the company (you will already have mentioned this in your leave application, but it is good to reiterate it).
When writing the letter, make sure you maintain a formal tone throughout – remember that you are writing the letter to an authority figure in the organization you work in, and that this classifies as professional correspondence. Do not stray into a casual tone, and keep the letter as short as possible – your manager will not bother to read through anything that is more than half a page long.

Dear Ma’am
I am much obliged to you for having accepted my leave request. My contact information is available with the Human Resource department and I have also provided it in my leave request letter, so that the department can easily contact me in case any sort of ambiguity arises during my absence.
I will rejoin the office on the same date which I have already mentioned.
Yours Sincerely,
