Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Resort offers a South Pacific theme and lush landscaping. This resort is one of Walt Disney World’s deluxe resorts. Room prices start at $315 during the value season and go up based on room size and location. There are water views, park views and garden views. Some rooms even offer a view of the famous castle! Rooms are decorated in a Hawaiian theme.

Walking into the lobby will immediately transport you to a lush tropic feel with their large beautiful water fountain. The entire area of Disney’s Polynesian Resort is a feast for the eyes. Take a stroll along the lagoon and enjoy the environment. Children activities are always going on.

Beaches and two pools greet you for sun filled fun. A volcano pool with a zero entry offers a themed experience and a waterslide. Pools are open from 10am to 10pm with lifeguards on site. As with other resorts, fishing, watercraft rental, and bike rental service are all available. A volleyball court is also on the grounds.

Be sure to grab a seat on the beach and watch the spectacular Electric Light Parade float by and prepare for a treat as you watch fireworks go off over the parks. These shows will entertain all ages! Who could ask for a better location?

Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Resort offers character dining with Lilo and Stitch during breakfast hours. Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Show is nothing less than fun and amazing with hula dancing, authentic music and other delights in an open-air theater. Other dining options are Ohana which offer all you can eat family fare and Kona CafÃ?© which serves American and Asian cuisine. A quick serve type of food court is available at Captain Cook’s Snack Company; there are even toasters and microwaves here if you need one.

Arcades at Disney’s Polynesian Resort make for indoor fun during rainy days. The Never Land club offers scheduled activities for children ages four through twelve. It is a perfect opportunity for the kids to have fun while the grown-ups enjoy a romantic dinner.

Bus service, monorail service and boat launch service are all available to take you to the different areas of Walt Disney World including the theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney areas.

Concierge service, valet service and laundry services are available to those guests interested. A health club and spa at the Grand Floridian are open for use and a jogging trail is offered on site.
