Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Four Points Sheraton Hotel is beautifully kept up.

The Hotel staff was friendly, informative and and
accommodating (we had to call them several times regarding our reservations and rooms and were able to call toll free).

Valet Parking was a added bonus.

Our room was very clean, well kept and beautifully decorated it gave us a feeling of home, we had 2 full size beds (mattresses and pillows were comfortable) overhead lights above the telephone stand, a desk with a light, television, bathroom w/vanity and shower(sample shampoo, conditioner and soaps). There was also a coffee maker and coffee. For 4 people, there was not a lot of extra area for our luggage. We were a bit cramped but, it met our needs as we only were in our rooms too sleep).

However the rooms were not sound proof, so you could hear people talking in the halls, or wake up in the morning to someone running a shower.

There is a Cafe in the Hotel with excellent food such as sandwiches, entree, soups, desserts, including brunch which was wonderful eggs, pastry, sausage, bacon and more all at affordable prices. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The banquet room is exquisite with huge crystal chandeliers,
round tables covered with linen, beautiful centerpieces, a stage for performing. The food was excellent and the servers were efficient, accommodating and friendly.

The conference rooms are large with round tables and cloth padded chairs (the tables are covered with linen table clothes, they had glasses/pitchers of ice water for us), the chairs are well padded for sitting at those long conferences).

The lounge gives you and old world feel of comfort, fireplace, chairs and beautifully decorated. It is a great place to meet your friends or just sit and look at the art work or gaze into the fireplace. We enjoyed going to the lounge and visiting with other conference members from different states.

There is a pool and hot tub (which we never had time to use), also a work out room with a excellent variety of exercise equipment.

Everything you need is right there at the hotel. If you are looking to site see or go shopping, all the informational pamphlets you need are right in the lobby(such as museums, college, the Art Center, Mall of America (is within 15 to 20 minutes from the hotel), local restaurants, Craft shops, and more.

They do have a shuttle service or you have the option of taking a take a cab. We took a cab as the shuttle did not go to the Craft Shop we wanted to go to. The cab service is prompt, got us to our destination and was back at the time we requested

The 4 of us enjoyed our stay, this was our first time in Minnesota. We were glad that the hotel was on the outskirts of the City. It was easy to find. We came in on Hwy 35W, the hotel is located right off of Industrial Blvd and Godward.

The price of a nights stay was 119.00 for 3 night and 4 days (conference price).

If you are Looking for Hotel in Minneapolis that is not in the heart of the city the Four Points Sheraton is the Place for you.
