I Saw His DEATH

I finally found him!
My true love,”Wild Bill” was his nickname,
This charming man – never showed his pain.
He had medium legnth wavy brown hair,
holding his guitar with such care.
We lived in a cabin so happily I thought,
until his heath lead to distraught.
He walked into town singing away,
who’d ever know what would happen later that day.
As we prepared for an appointment nearby,
He suddenly looked at me & started to cry.
He felt there was simply no way out of his pain,
his sickness was too much for him – he cried out with shame.
I’d rather not say what I witnessed that day,
I just miss my true love & wish he’d never gone away.
I still see you dear – in dreams & when I hear your songs,
“til we meet again’ – I must carry on.
