The origination of spaghetti is Italian. There are some people who suggest that it may be from China but there is no clear evidence pointing at that. On the other hand, the noodles are of Chinese origin. So one of them is European while the other is Asian. This is one of the more prominent differences that can be observed in the various aspects of these two foods.
They both have a similar cylindrical shape but the spaghetti is thicker than the noodles. The noodles are also a little bit longer in size than the spaghetti. Because of this, the noodles are generally eaten with chopsticks where as the spaghetti is eaten with a fork.
The main ingredient of spaghetti is wheat flour. Generally the wheat is not whole and a refined quality is used. Noodles on the other hand can be made from various materials such as rice flour, canna starch, rice starch and potato starch among others. The noodles can come in different flavours because of this reason.
The cooking of spaghetti is generally done by boiling it in water with a little bit of salt or olive oil. When they are served, herbs such as oregano and basil leaves are sprinkled. Some people like to use cheese and different kinds of meats in the dish as well.
Noodles are generally just boiled in water until they are soft. The noodles are generally served with various sauces and with different kinds of vegetables and meats. It is also possible that they may be put into a different soup made separately. Noodles are also used in order to make salads and a different variety is used for the purpose.
