One day an official of Bols, a Dutch distiller of alcoholic beverages, asked him to make a new drink by using Bols’ new brand known as Blue Curacao liqueur. Harry Yee came up with a unique drink, now known as Blue Hawaii Cocktail. Later on, many variations of this tropical cocktail were discovered by making slight changes in its original ingredients.

(1 oz) Light rum
– (2 oz) Pineapple juice
– (1 oz) Blue Curacao
– (1 oz) Cream of coconut
– 1 slice Pineapple for garnishing – optional
– 1 Cherry for garnishing – optional
– Ice cubes

    Take a highball glass and fill it with ice cubes.

    Pour 1 oz of light rum, 2 oz of pineapple juice, 1 oz of Blue Curacao, and 1 oz of Cream of coconut into the glass.
