How to Make a Painkiller Cocktail

The Painkiller Cocktail is known to be one of the best cocktails ever invented. It was introduced somewhere in the 1970s at The Soggy Dollar Bar in the British Virgin Islands. The recipe of real Painkiller Cocktail remains a top secret – but an open one now. This awesome cocktail contains a mixture of stimulating alcohol or liquor along with some other ingredients like fruit juices and mixers. If you wish to add up more to the exuberance of this awesome cocktail then it is good to serve it along with crushed ice, paper flowers, sparklers, tropical fruits, umbrellas etc. The reason it is known as Painkiller is because it provides relief against a certain physical ache. Making Painkiller Cocktail at home isn’t too difficult. Make sure you have the required ingredients available before you follow the below given steps for making the Cocktail.

Utensils required: Shaker, Stirrer, Tall Cocktail Glass, drinking straw
Ingredients:

– Dark Rum (2 oz)
– Orange Juice (1 oz)
– Pineapple Juice (4 oz)
– Coconut Cream (1 oz)
– Crushed Ice Cubes

    Before you start preparing the cocktail, put the cocktail glass in the freezer for at least one hour. This is because the glass will be ice chilled by the time you serve the cocktail.

    One by one pour all the ingredients in the cocktail shaker which is already filled with crushed ice. These ingredients should be added according to the quantity mentioned in the introduction.

    Once all the ingredients are poured in the shaker, start shaking and stirring so that they are mixed perfectly.

    After you are sure that the ingredients are properly mixed, bring the cocktail glass out of the freezer. Carefully pour the prepared mixture inside the chilled cocktail glass.

    The Pain killer cocktail is ready to be served. You may add some paper flowers, sparklers, tropical fruits, umbrellas etc for presentation.
