First of all, take a mixer and put flour, yeast and some warm water into it. Mix all the ingredients well for around thirty seconds. Then, you have to knead the mixture for around four minutes. After that, add more flour to the mixture and blend it well.
Take a large bowl and put the mixture into it. It will be better for you to grease the base of the bowl with some butter so that the mixture will not stick with it. Wait for about an hour until the bread become puffy.
Now, preheat the grill on high heat and place the pitas on it. Cover the grill with the lid.
Then, you have to make the dough into two-inch balls. Take a rolling pin and flat the balls with it to a thickness of around ¼ inch. You will have to let the discs uncovered for around 10 to 15 minutes.
Pick one piece at a time and spray some water on it with the help of mister in order to make it wet from the top. Use flour and sugar shaker to make the area dusty on counter. Then, with you palm, pat the pieces to make them flat.
After making all the pieces flat, place each piece on the hot grill to bake. You will have to cover the grill with the lid after placing the pieces on it so as to cook them properly.
When the pitas become brown, remove them from the grill and place them aside to cool down. Then, add whatever vegetables you like to make your pita pocket sandwiches. You can also use different kinds of sauces to make the sandwiches tastier.
