Add rice into a bowl
Take a large bowl and add some uncooked rice into it. You can choose the quantity as per the number of guests or your family members.
Add cold water to the bowl
Pour some cold water to the rice and leave it for some time, if the rice is new. In case, your rice is preserved for some time, you don’t need to follow this step. It is always better to use old rice, as it cooks really nicely.
Wash the rice
It is always better to wash the rice before cooking it. This process is quite simple, as you just have to pour in some water and shake the rice with your hands, as if you are mixing something. Then, spill the water out and pour in some fresh water.
Boil the rice
Place the rice into a large dish and leave it to boil for a few minutes. Make sure that you do this on medium heat.
Spill the water out carefully
Once the rice is boiled, make sure there is no moisture left in it. You will have to spill the entire water out and then simmer at low heat for a couple of minutes. Make sure that the dish is covered properly.
Prepare the broccoli
In the meantime, steam the broccoli, as it is the easiest way of cooking it. Once it gets ready, add cheese to it and mix properly.
Combine rice and broccoli
Mix all the cooked ingredients together and your delicious cheese broccoli rice will be ready to be served.
