Boil water and dissolve gelatin
Take a nice small pan and pour one and a half cup of water in it. Place the pan on the boiler. Once the water reaches the boiling level, turn off the boiler and mix gelatin in the boiling water. You need to stir it properly for at least a couple of minutes and make sure it is dissolved in the water.
Add cold water
Now you can add one and a half cup of cold water in the mixture and stir it again. It needs to be poured into a 9 inch pie plate, which should have been sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
Place the pie plate in the refrigerator
In order to make it thick, place the pie plate in your refrigerator for an hour and a half. You can check if the mixture has thickened or not by drawing a spoon through the leaves.
Push the gummy worms into the gelatin
Now you need to push the gummy worms into the gelatin and allow it to refrigerate for another couple of hours or until they become firm.
Unmold the pie plate
In order to release the gelatin, you can dip the pie plate in warm water for about 15 seconds. With wet fingers, you need to pull the gelatin from around the edges and place a serving plate on top of the plate. You may shake to loosen them. You can now remove the pie plate and put the Creepy Crawly Gelatin on the serving plate. It can be garnished with additional gummy worms.
