How to Make Homemade Pasta

Buying pasta from the market and boiling it at home doesn’t seem to be a difficult task at all. It doesn’t take much of your time, and you can serve it to people of all age groups in the family.

However, making this delicious recipe from scratch appears to be an impossible task. Therefore, women have to spend quite a lot of money to buy it from the market and prepare it for their children.

Surprisingly, making this delicious Italian food at home is not difficult at all. You just have to be a touch patient in order to get rewarded.

Utensils: Bowl, Spoons, Kitchen Towel Paper, Measuring cup, Sharp knife, Plastic sheet

All purpose flour: 2 cups
Eggs: 3
Water (or vegetable stock for more flavour)
Olive oil

    Add flour to a bowl

    Add two cups of flour to a large bowl and also add a pinch of salt. Once the mixture settles in nicely, make a well in the flour so that you can see the bottom of the bowl clearly.

    Add eggs in the bowl

    Take three eggs and drop them inside the well you have created. You can beat the eggs in a separate bowl before adding them to the flour.

    Mix water and oil

    Now, mix some water and oil with the eggs and start spreading the flour on top of the liquid ingredients.

    Make the dough

    Once you have covered the wet ingredients with flour, start mixing them with your hands. You can use the mixer too, but the former option is a lot better, as it will allow you to make perfect dough.

    Cover the dough with plastic sheet

    You will now have to cover the dough with a plastic sheet for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, remove the sheet and roll the dough.

    Cut strips from the rolled dough

    Using a sharp knife, cut strips from the dough. You don’t have to worry about the shape of the strips, as they don’t make any difference to the overall taste.

    Allow the strips to dry

    Let the strips dry for some time otherwise you will not be able to cook them properly, if there is moisture left in them.

    Boil and serve

    Finally, you can boil the pasta and serve it to your family.
