How to Make Mini Cheese Ball Mice

If you are having a kids party or a Disney themed party for your children in your house then you can serve mini cheese ball mice. Children usually do not prefer to eat normal cheese balls. However, if you give cheese balls the shape of mice then you can trick your children into eating them. The cheese balls will look more attractive in this way and you can even play games with your kids for luring them to eat them. Besides this, cheese balls have great nutritional value. They are rich in protein, phosphorus and fat. Nutritionally, cheese balls are essential concentrated milk.

Store-bought cheese ball or spreadable cheddar cheese
Slivered almonds
Currants
Fresh chives or scallions

    Shape the cheese

    First of all get a tablespoon of cheese from either a cheese ball or a cheese spread. Then give it a shape of a mouse. Remember that it should be round from the back and pointed from the front. In case the cheese you are using softens then you can place it in a refrigerator for few minutes in order to give a look a mouse. The cheese will be solidified by putting in the refrigerator.

    Make the ears

    In order to make the ears you can use almond silvers. Take the almond silvers and place them halfway into the cheese mouse. Remember to place it in a way that you see ears of a mouse.

    Apply currants to make eye and nose

    Next you need to make eyes and nose of the mouse-shaped cheese balls. You can use currants for this purpose. Take the currants and press them where the eyes and nose of a mouse are located. Remember to use a toothpick’s tip to apply currants on the cheese balls mice.

    Make the tail

    In order to make the tail of the cheese balls mice, you need to get fresh chive or scallion. Pick up the chive or scallion and insert it into the back of the round shaped area of the cheese ball. Remember to insert the shear end of the chive or scallion you are using.

    In the end, place the mini cheese ball mouse on a cracker and then serve it to your kids.
