Gather the ingredients
Gather all the ingredients and place them together on a cleared, flat working space. Make sure all the utensils you use are clean, as any dirt or alien flavours could taint the fudge.
Pour chocolate chips into a bowl
Next, you need to pour the chocolate chips into a bowl. The bowl should be microwave safe. If you do not have a microwave oven, you can pour the chocolate chips into a non-stick metal saucepan.
Add condensed milk and vanilla
Now, you need to add the condensed milk and vanilla to the microwave-safe bowl containing the chocolate chips.
Chop the walnuts
After adding the milk and vanilla into the microwave safe bowl, you need to chop up the walnuts. You can do this by placing them on a breadboard, and using a sharp knife for maximum effect. Remember to chop them into small, edible pieces.
Place the bowl in the microwave
Next, you are required to place the microwave safe bowl in the microwave oven. Heat it for around one to three minutes. In case you do not have a microwave oven, you need to heat the mixture on a stove. Remember to keep stirring as you heat it.
Pour the mixture into the pan
After heating until everything is melted and combined, you need to quickly pour the mixture into the pan - make sure you line this pan with aluminium foil beforehand. You need to be fast because fudge dries out quickly. Then, spread the fudge evenly in the pan with the help of spatula, and sprinkle all the chopped walnuts on top.
Store in a cool place
Now, you need to store it in a cool place, preferably a refrigerator. You need to store it for around 15 to 20 minutes.
Slice and serve
After cooling, your fudge will be ready to eat. Simply slice it into neat, even square pieces, and serve. You can store it in the pan (cover it with plastic wrap if you opt to do this), or place it in an airtight plastic container.
