Leave the spider alone
One of the best ways to prevent a spider from biting you is to leave it alone. Whenever you see a spider, you must not aggravate the situation by upsetting the spider in one way or another. If the spider is threatened, it is more likely to attack you. If you really want to get rid of the spider, you need to trap it by covering the eight-legged creature with a glass. Slide a piece of paper underneath the glass and go out of your house to release it.
Keep your home clean
Keep in mind that houses which are not particularly clean and neatly maintained attract spiders. If you keep your home clean, you will enhance your chances of not encountering any spiders. If there is any kind of old furniture in your house, which is not in use, it needs to be thrown out. Same is the case with old clothes, storage boxes, rock and woodpiles. You can prevent spiders from crawling onto the bed and biting you by moving your bed away from the walls. If you see any spider webs, you should use a broom to wipe them away. Spiders and spider eggs can be instantly killed by vacuuming the house after every two or three days.
Cover any holes in your house
If you can prevent spiders from entering your house, you will make it impossible for the eight-legged creature to bite you. Therefore, it is advised that you seal, caulk and cover any holes or openings in the foundation of your house, especially at the exit and entry points.
