Many women feel that sewing in weave hair extensions is extremely hard and they pay high amounts of money to hairdressers to do it for them. In reality, it is not that hard to do it and you can ask a friend to help you in this regard. Hair extensions will give you an extremely unique look given the length is right and you have laid a good foundation to it.

– Hair sewing thread
– Curved hair sewing needle
– Scissors
– Blow dryer
– Comb
– Shampoo

    Shampoo and blow dry your hair

    For the extensions, your hair needs to be clean and fresh. So, shampoo and condition your hair nicely. After washing the hair, blow dry them completely and make sure all dampness is gone. You also need to part the hair that need to be sewn and leave some hair that will cover them.

    Determine the style you want to have

    Determine what type of a style you need to make with the extensions and make the partitions accordingly. Make sure that the style you select is possible with the type of hair you have so that there is no difficulty afterwards.

    Sew the weave extensions

    You need to start sewing the weave extensions from the back of the head and they can be either horizontal extensions or in the form of a straight cornrow braid. You need to sew the ends of the braid by using a hair sewing thread and straighten the hair using a comb. Look to cut off an extension which is more than the length you require.

    Sew rows of extensions on each cornrow

    Start the rows of the weave extension also from the back of the head and keep the track of the cornrow flat. You can start from the edge of the cornrow and repeat the same process until you get the desired look.

    Secure an end to the track

    Cut the track when you have finished using the weave extensions on the entire head. You can also sew a closure crown at the end.
