How to Stay Fit without Going to the Gym

There is no doubt in that almost everyone of you want to get in proper shape but tight schedules, activities of daily life and other things stop you from joining a fitness club or gym. What if someone tell you that you can stay fit without going to gym? Your first reaction will be what? is it possible? Undoubtedly, it is very much possible.

All you need to do is to make some small changes in your daily routine and keep yourself motivated to follow this new routine. Though, it will take time but ultimately this effort will yield favourable results.

    First of all, you should stop using a car or motor bike for short distances. Prepare yourself to walk instead of driving and you will see a significant difference in a few weeks. Even if you are going far away, park your car at some distance and make yourself go for a long walk. This will not only help you in staying fit but you will also be able to save some money.

    You should stay active while working. Do not slouch rather sit up straight in your chair. You can do exercise even without leaving your chair. Stretch your arms and legs, breathe in and out, move your neck in a circle and last but not the least try to touch your toes while stretching your legs.

    Another good technique to get in shape is to walk while talking on the phone. Believe me you won’t even realise how much distance you have covered and how many calories you have burnt. Similarly, keep standing while working in kitchen, office or anywhere else. This will help you in staying active.

    Mostly, people look for comfort and prefer elevators or lifts over stairs. Though, it saves you time but it also makes you lazy and fat. Try to use stairs as much as you can and you will see a significant improvement in your fitness.

    You can get into proper shape by taking part in different activities. It can be anything like swimming, cycling, cleaning your house, mowing your lawn, trimming the plants etc. Assign yourself different tasks and try to complete that task in minimum time. You should also take part in some physical activities and sports.

    Last but not the least, you should eat wisely. You must plan your diet and eat just three times a day. Drink plenty of water or lemon juice for cleansing of your body.
