Spinach and Feta Pasta Salad Recipe

Spinach and Feta Pasta Salad is a wonderful low-calories side dish to dish up any time throughout the year. However, it is best made during the seasons when spinaches are easily available in the vegetable market. This classic salad is a rich source of iron, which is essential for taking oxygen from the lungs to the muscles and other parts of the body.

Try this simple salad in your next family get-together and enjoy some nice comments from your family members:

Preparation time: 15 to 20 minutes, excluding the boiling periods
Serving Size: 6 to 8
Utensils Needed: Pot, Stove, Knife, Large Serving Bowl, Salad bowls, spoon

Ingredients:
– 1/2 lb. Pasta – bow ties are preferred
– 1/2 bag Fresh Baby Spinach – chopped up
– 1/2 cup Italian Dressing
– Small can sliced olives – properly drained
– 2 Tomatoes – nicely chopped
– 1/2 can Garbanzo Beans – well drained and rinsed
– Crumbled Feta Cheese

Instructions

    Pour some water into a medium pot and place it on your stove over a medium heat. Add in some salt to taste and bring the water to boil and add in 1/2 lb. of pasta. Let the pasta boil until soft and tender. Remove the pot from stove, drain the pasta and rinse them well under cold water.

    Place the rinsed pasta in a large salad bowl and add in 1 bag of freshly chopped baby spinach.

    Top the pasta-spinach mixture with 2 nicely chopped red tomatoes, small can of sliced and drained olives, and ½ can of rinsed and drained Garbanzo Beans. Toss until the ingredients mix well and set the bowl aside.

    Stir in ½ cup of Italian Dressing and toss for few seconds until all ingredients are coated completely.

    Sprinkle crumbled Feta Cheese all over the salad and serve with medium serving bowls.

    Note: You have two options of serving Spinach and Feta Pasta Salad. Either serve it warm, right after preparation or place it in refrigerator to chill before serving.
