Many organizations are now promoting plantation of trees. There are many campaigns which urge the people to plant trees. The International Earth Day is also celebrated every year on April 22. Play your part by planting one seedling.

When you are buying new gadgets, always look for the energy star seal. These are specially designed to conserve energy. These also have tax reductions on them. You will be saving some money and energy at the same time.

Fresh and local organic food
Instead of using packed food which can produce emissions, buy fresh food from any shop near you. Also, try to avoid frozen food as they also use more energy than fresh food.
