How To Make a Marigold Facial Mask

Various skin care and repair systems are available in the market for men and women alike. However, the Marigold facial mask is considered to be one of the best when it comes to skin care solutions. Its cell-rejuvenating abilities are immensely effective for skin, especially when you are suffering from a sun-burn. No other facial mask is as effect as marigold mask to reduce skin redness and providing smoothness to irritating skin. Dried marigold facial mask is available in the market and you just have to add water or milk to apply it to your face. However, the effects of a marigold facial masked prepared from fresh flower petals at home are far greater than any other product you buy for skin care from beauty stores. Preparing the marigold facial mask won’t require much effort and it will be a fun activity to perform.

THINGS REQUIRED:

– Marigold (calendula) flowers or petals, Chamomile flowers

– Almond oil

– Carrots

– Wheat germ oil

– Honey powder

– Facial clay

– Non-fat dry milk

– Marigold extract

– Lemon juice

– Aloe vera gel

– Oatmeal

– lecithin granules

    Steeped Marigold Facial Mask

    Take a marigold and a chamomile flower and put them in half cup of boiling water. Dried flowers will also serve the purpose of making the mask but it is preferred to take fresh flowers for better results. Let them steep for about 10 minutes.

    Take just one table spoon of slightly boiled carrots and mash them in a bowl. Add one quarter tea spoon almond oil in the mashed carrots and mix them well.

    Add the liquid from steeped flowers to mashed carrots and then add one table spoon of lecithin granules. One tea spoon of wheat germ oil shall be added afterwards and blend the entire mixture well. It is better to put this mixture in an electronic blender so that it is mixed uniformly.

    Wash your face with warm water and clean it properly. Then apply the marigold facial mask onto your face and avoid putting it onto your eyes.

    Let the mask dry on your face for at least 15 minutes and then use a warm-water soaked cloth to remove it. Rinse with warm water afterwards and dry your face with a clean towel.

    Marigold Extract Facial Mask

    Add one tea spoon each of honey powder, spa facial clay, no-fat dry milk and finely ground oatmeal in a bowl and mix them together. Then, add one and a half ounce of aloe vera juice and half ounce of marigold extract into the dry mixture to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on your face and neck; when the mask dries off, wash your face with warm water and dry it with a clean towel.
