Place 1 cup of sugar in the pan of the bread machine and top it with 1 cup of canned pumpkin.
Add in 1/3 cup of vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Make a medium shallow indentation in the middle of the mixture and crack 2 large eggs into it.
Top the egg mixture with 1½ cups of bread flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, ¼ teaspoon of salt, 1teaspoon of ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg and1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves.
Now set your bread machine to dough and switch it on. Add in the roasted pumpkin seeds and chopped nuts during the 3 to 5 minutes of kneading.
Once knead well, unseal the bread machine’s pan and shift the dough into a floured surface. Divide it into two equal loaves and shape them like a cake. Cover the loaves with plastic wrapping sheet and set aside for 30 minutes or until raises well and double in size.
Seal the baking pan of the cake maker and bake it manufacturer's instructions or until properly browned from all sides.
Remove the pumpkin cake from baking pan and place in a wire rack. Let it cool for 10 minutes and then set on a large serving plate.
Cut the pumpkin cake into medium slices and serve. Enjoy!
