    Start with the information about yourself


    You will have to start the Bill of Sale with your name (Seller’s Name).  Like, you can start with your (Seller’s) information, that says, “I [Your / Seller’s Name]. Add your address below your name. For example, “of (your / seller’s Address).

    Mention the car Information


    Now include the description of your car including the make, model and year. Do not forget to mention the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in the description of your car. Example, do sell “a (car’s year, make, model).”

    Write the odometer reading


    Write the odometer reading of the car you are selling and add a disclaimer, stating that the odometer reading is correct to the best of your knowledge. In addition to odometer reading, include a statement certifying that you are not aware of anyone changing or adjusting the odometer prior to the sale. For example, “with VIN Number.”

    Now mention that the buyer is purchasing your car


    Now you have to mention that the buyer is purchasing your car along with the selling price. Like, “and odometer reading (Mileage).” Never forget to mention that you (Seller) is not providing the buyer with any kind of warranty and the buyer will be responsible for all necessary repair of the car.

    Include spaces for you and the buyer to sign the agreement along with a space below for the date.
