Language is perhaps one of the most important part of one’s life, as it allows people to communicate with each other, and express their though and feeling with the help of words. Language allows people to enjoy hours of entertainment through literature, music, films etc.
There are hundreds and thousands of languages spoken in different parts of the world, and this article will shed light on the figures of the top 10 most spoken language all over the globe. The list was finalised by Kryss Talaat’s educational and information site in 2010, as per the number of speakers of each language.

Standard Chinese
Standard Chinese, which is known as Mandarin, is the most widely spoken language in the world, and originates from the most populated country in the world, China. There are over 1151 million speaker of Mandarin present in different parts of the world.

English the second most spoken language in the world, with its speakers amount to around 1000 million. Many current estimates also show that the number of English speakers have surpassed the total number of Mandolin. However, there is no proper research present, which can prove this fact.
