For so long we as Americans have been duped into believing that we need a pill for this and a pill for that. Many of us have a long list of medications that we take for various ailments. Do we know what all the medications are for? Do we know what the contraindications are? Do we know what the drug interactions of all the medications can be? Are we relying on our pharmacist’s and our MD’sto keep us healthy?

It is time for the people of our country to take the responsibility for their health care. We all have the ability to know when our bodies need our attention for one thing or another. The body gives off various clues as to what is going on with it. We need to be open to listening to these clues so that we can take care of the issues as soon as they present themselves. The best time to heal the body of what is ailing it is in the first 24 hours of onset of symptoms.

The main problem with AMA medicine is the fact that it treats the symptoms and not the cause of the symptoms. Prescription drugs are all toxic at some level. With homeopathic remedies you are using something that is toxic at no level. Homeopathic remedies don’t treat the symptoms they treat the root cause of the symptoms.

How do we live holistically? It’s simple really, we need to get back to how we did things many, many years ago. We need to drink pure water and lots of it so that our bodies can cleanse themselves easier. We need to eat foods that have no chemicals. Organic foods can be found quite readily. Treating our bodies with homeopathic remedies whenever we can, and using little or no prescription drugs.

When buying products to clean our homes we need to use items that have no chemicals in them. White distilled vinegar is one of the best cleaning products out there. It cleans virtually everything from windows, countertops, floors, just about anything that needs cleaning. There are many other products out there without chemicals. Go to your local health food store and look around. Read the ingredients, quite a few of the products can be made at home for much less money.

Living holistically isn’t as hard or as expensive as most people think. It’s really quite inexpensive if you make most of what you put in your body, and clean your home with. Join a food co-op that sells organic foods, plant your own organic garden, and enjoy the clean fresh smell of a home without chemicals.

Is it possible to live our senior years out with very few ailments? Absolutely, hopefully you have gotten some tips to start you on the right path.
