Enamel Strips for Fingernails Makes Polishing Easy

Women go through sometimes grueling procedures to look beautiful. From makeup to hairstyles to the latest fashions, many women try to look the best they can, always. But, when you’re pressed for time, it’s easy to let certain things go for the moment, like polishing your nails. Avon’s Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips are a life saver for women who want to polish their nails in a hurry but just don’t have time to let them dry. The enamel strips are actually made of enamel, on peel-away paper, that are simply pressed onto the nails. The enamel strips come in fabulous colors and are simple enough for even children to do.

You’ll never have to worry again about getting fingernail polish on the skin, streaking, or allowing drying time between two or three coats of polish. Say you get acrylic nails at the salon? No problem! These babies press right onto acrylic nails to hold you over until your next appointment. The enamel strips are waterproof, shiny, and look professionally done. They last up to 14 days and still show little wear and tear. Your nail has grown, though, since the application, so the strip will become more and more visible at the edges.

If you have short nails, you’ll be able to use one package at least twice, since the enamel strips are very long. Not only do the strips work on fingernails but they also work on toenails. And since toenails are much smaller, one package will do just toenails several times.

Here’s how the enamel strips work:

Tear off a strip of the enamel that will be large enough to cover the first nail – whichever nail you choose. Remove the clear coating and the backing from the enamel strip. Position the strip over the nail and push the end of the strip up against the nail bed. Press down to secure. If you don’t get it aligned just right the first time, simply lift it off the nail and reposition it.

Use one finger to hold the enamel strip at the nail bed. Dampen another finger and smooth the enamel strip up the fingernail until it is completely covered. Now press all around the nail until the enamel lays flat and smooth. Use another nail to press into the cuticle, all the way around. Don’t use a nail that has recently had the enamel strip applied, unless it’s been 30 minutes or longer. Trim off the excess at the end of the nail. This piece, if you don’t let it fold over on itself while trimming, can be used on the next nail.

That’s just one of the great things about the nail enamel strips – they can be used as one long strip, or you can combine bits and pieces to get the same great look on another nail. The enamel strips start out soft and pliable but set to a hard, enamel finish. Practice makes perfect with this product, so you’ll see the best results after you’ve tried it a couple of times.

Make the enamel strips part of your regular beauty routine and you’ll be glad you did. You’ll no longer have to spend hours upon hours tending to your nails but you’ll also love the perfect just-from-the-parlor look. No home polishing job has ever looked this great.
