Sadness

There will come some smoke in the light blue sky,
While monkeys do tricks with their feet so high,
And birds in the air, belching out songs of fear,
While wild plum trees hear something, but not near,
And not one creature will know what’s about,
Until they see many people shout,
But they just don’t seem to care,
Not the birds, monkeys or the hare,
They just go about as if the war was a dream,
And just mute out the noises of all the screams.
