Vinegar and Water Cleans Everything!

For a long time I have been cleaning my house with the latest house cleaning products out on the market from the best hardwood floor spray to the the highest price glass and window cleaner. We built a new house recently and went with all the reccomedations of the best stainless steel cleaners and floor, to the best and only reccomended cleaner for the granite, worried that we might damage our surfaces if we didn’t clean them as they said, we bought into the product lines.
After a long time of hearing about vinegar and water, I finally tried it and it grew legs.

Not only did the idea of helping the environment sound good to me, but basic cleaners go back alot of years and might have some weight of tried and true.

I bought the best floor cleaners, according to our buider and the local home stores, but my floors were still sticky and left many footprints. I tried vinegar and it cleaned up all the residue of the soap cleaners and left a shiny hard surface, and the vinegar smell only lasted long enough for my five year old to say our house smelled like sushi! As an afternote, you do have to dry your floors as you mop to avoid the cloudy look.

With such a great outcome on the floors, I decided to try it on the appliances which we spent alot of money on stainless steel cleaner that doesn’t do a great job, and it was unbelievable, the stainless was clean in a quarter of the time and shining!
Next we tried the windows and microwave with the same outcome, everything was shining and odor free.

We just bought a puppy that was not housetrained and used the vinegar and watr solution to remove pet odors and much to our surprise, we were happier with this than the high price floor cleaners. The vinegar and water removed the smell and the stain.

We have honestly been reduced to using the cheapest cleaner in the world, simply because it does the best cleaning job and gets rid of the odor so well.

the recipe that we feel is most ffective is one third cup of white vinegar to one cup of warm water. You can use regular tempurature water but it is easier to buff out if the water is hot or warm.

This is a strange and unusual idea for us but I’m thrilled we tried it because not only are we saving money, but our house feels alot cleaner naturally.
