It had been then grief-stricken with a terrible fire in1975. The building was renovated, but the Pakistani Government then started its efforts to purchase their own permanent building. After hard work and successfully dialogue with the Canadian Government, High Commission of Pakistan in Ottawa purchased its own building in 2004 at 10 Range Road, among a cluster many other embassies.
The High Commission for Pakistan in Ottawa operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. However, it remains closed for all Public & National Holidays in Canada and Public & National Holidays in Pakistan.
