    French Nationals

    French Passport holders do not need to apply for a visa before they fly to the UAE. They will be issued visas on entry at the immigration desk.

    Other nationals

    The citizens of the following countries do not need to apply for an entry permit before hand:

    Denmark, Finland, United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican, Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and the United States of America.

    Citizens of any other country need to file a visa application.

    Visa Requirements

    The rules for entry into the UAE require that travelers be sponsored by a company, hotel, tour operator or resident of the UAE.

    You will also require the following:

    a) Valid Passport
    b) Hotel registration or Company sponsorship letter or resident sponsorship or tour operator sponsorship
    c) Credit card used to make registration for hotels

    Submitting application

    You will need to physically deliver the application along with all supporting documents to the embassy.

    Processing times and fees

    The charges for a visa are 250 AED and the processing time is from 5 to 7 working days.

    Receiving visa

    You will be contacted once your application has been process. You can go the consulate to go and pick up your passport along with the visa.
