Grab a large bowl and place the chicken pieces in it.
Pick up a medium mixing bowl and combine 1/4 cup of soy sauce and 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar in it.
Pour the soy sauce-vinegar mixture over the chicken pieces and season with ground black pepper to taste.
Now, toss the chicken pieces to coat well. Set the bowl aside at room temperature until marinate.
Meanwhile, place a large skillet on the stove over a medium heat. Pour in any of your favorite cooking oil and let it become hot.
Now, place 1 clove of crushed garlic in the skillet and stir them gently until brown.
Once your garlic brown well, remove them from oil and place them on a plate.
Carefully place the marinated chicken place into the same hot oil.
Add the 2 bay leaves in the chicken mixture in the skillet. Cover the skillet and let it cook at low heat for approximately 10 minutes on each side until the chicken pieces no longer pink and turn light brown.
Remove the skillet from heat after 10 minutes and place the Chicken Adobo on a large serving plate.
Remove the 2 bay leaves and garnish with lemon wedges, coriander leaves or onion leaves.
Serve the dish warm.
