Favicons are the small icons that are visible as you enter the URL of a web-page in the address bar. It appears usually on the left side of the URL as it loads, besides this whenever you bookmark or save the page as RSS feed the site is usually represented by that icon.     Log in to your word press Dashboard and go to Theme Editor which is found under ‘Appearance’ Option.

    Click on Header.php in the right sidebar and open it. Then paste the script in the body of your website source code.

    If you are unable to edit and save header.php through dashboard, you can update it via FTP.
